I remember in late 90’s/early 00’s I used to order DVD’s from a website that specialised in rare titles that hadn’t been officially released. One was Rat Man and the stills from the movie looked really extreme!

People are being eaten alive on an idyllic island. Could the culprit be a genetically engineered mutant half-rat, half- ape? (!)

Guess the answer. Rat Man the character and film of the same name is an oddity. It’s not as ghastly as the stills suggest but it’s still worth seeing.

The Rat Man is played by Nelson de La Rosa. There’s paydirt in horror for dwarves and amputees. Just sayin’

David Warbeck from The Beyond also stars.
