The bath is a great place to ruminate, self-reflect and generally have a good think.
I was thinking about my favourite Aussie movies and how I needed to review them and generally show them some love here.
And then it struck me! A whole month of Aussie fare. And today is the 1st of March. The time is now!
All I needed to do was think of a word beginning with ‘M’ to go with March for a nice bit of alliteration (it works well for John Waters). A word beginning with M that had an Aussie connection. I then very quickly came up with ‘Marsupial’. Yes, it’s genius.
So, every day in March I will be reviewing a different Aussie movie, some of which I’ve seen already, some which are virgin territory. Some are films, some are TV movies.
Here’s what I’ll be watching-
- Snapshot (1979)
- Mad Max (1979)
- Wake In Fright (1971)
- Patrick (1978)
- Road Games (1981)
- Kitty and the Bagman (1982)
