A couple of criminals kidnap a girl who’s family are very wealthy. They hide her in a friends house in the jungle which is populated by cannibalistic tribespeople.

Cannibal Terror is a rare entry into this specific sub-genre in that it’s actually a French production rather than Italian.

The plot also dips it’s toe into of the r*pe-revenge sub-genre.

But whilst all of this sounds like a boon for fans of cult cinema and grindhouse movies, it’s so fucking boring! You know those films that are literally like watching paint dry? That’s this film! I’d have rather cleaned and rearranged cupboards or scrubbed out my bathroom than watch this. Yes, it was THAT dull. Not enough cannibal action, too much waffle.

Great title (and poster), dreadful movie. Shame.
