This shocker involves a couple of nut jobs who kidnap young women and keep them in their basement for their own twisted amusement. Yes, some of this is sexual. The pair of kidnappers are very close to their domineering mother.

This Don Jones film is very sleazy and a clear example of the era in which exploitation films were pushing the envelope regarding how far they could go (note I haven’t mentioned the title the movie played under in the States as even this is questionable).

I must also try to compile a list of my favourite ‘Women Kept in a Cellar’ movies. Pink Flamingos and Bloodsucking Freaks would naturally make an appearance.

Psycho is also a natural comparison here with the domineering mother figure.

Abducted is a solid slice of early 70’s Drive-In goodness. Good but not great but worth seeing as a cultural artifact of the era.
