From IMDB- ‘Following the suicide of his best friend, Captain Harry Morris accepts a final deadly mission to go behind enemy lines to destroy a radio tower that is broadcasting anti-war propaganda spoken by an American woman to American troops.’

An Italian Namsploitation film, you say? I’m there!
This film is terrific. It moves at a rollicking pace, never bores and contains loads of excellent action sequences. And what’s more, these action sequences are gory as hell.

It’s almost as if they made a longer film, edited out all of the sissy stuff regarding emotions and characters reflections, and just kept in all of the action for the bros. So it’s very masculine, but ironically, also very homoerotic because of this. Who needs Brokeback Mountain when you have The Last Hunter. Instead of tents and sheep, you have flamethrowers and gore instead.
Add to the mix a cast that reads like a list of old friends (David Warbeck! Tisa Farrow! Bobby Rhodes!) and this is well worth investigation by the most ardent cult film fan.
