There’s Nazi gold hidden in a desert oasis. Unfortunately, it’s being guarded by zombies.

Jesus Franco directs this remake of Zombie Lake which was made the previous year (fastest remake EVER!) with Jean Rollin at the helm when Franco couldn’t direct due to other commitments.

God this film is dull. Shots which are obviously too long and designed to drag out the running time, some of the worst dialogue I’ve ever heard, a score that is very irritating and zombies that look like they’re covered in dust and worms. Terrible on every level.

There are two versions of this film, a Spanish one and a French one. Avoid both.
