From IMDB- ‘’Three students, Tommy, Rita, and Robert, and their guides head into the jungle to study primitive tribes separated from civilization. However, the students say the one tribe they visit isn’t primitive enough, and they want to find some really savages, and to locate the legendary cannibal tribe supposedly living in the area. The guide reluctantly agrees, and they are all soon separated in a raft accident. Robert and Rita are captured by the cannibals and held prisoner, while Tommy and their guide wander aimlessly through the jungle, looking for their lost companions.’’

I can’t lie- my heart sank when I saw this film on the Section 3 list. Another goddamn jungle-based cannibal film! Will this, in fact, be some long-lost classic that had me throwing roses at my TV screen or a film so crap that I could actually feel myself slipping into a coma.
Savage Terror is awful. Low on human gore, high on animal cruelty with no discernible plot, acting skills or suspense.

Curiously, We Are The Robots by Kraftwerk plays over the film’s opening scene. What? How? Why?
The only thing that I found interesting was the transfer used. It looked very good. Which begs the question- why restore such a turd of a movie?

Please don’t waste your time.
