In this instalment the team take on the genre of…the recent That’s Entertainment compilation films of old Hollywood films as this is, erm, a compilation of clips from the Carry Ons.

Kenneth Williams and Barbara Windsor introduce the clips and I really liked their chemistry (it reminded me of when Williams was presenting Wogan and Babs was a guest).

That’s Carry On feels like it was made for TV, just as the That’s Entertainment compilations were. Indeed, That’s Carry On only reached the cinema as the second picture of a double-bill with a film called Golden Rendezvous.

It works but it’s not a patch on the actual films.
