Laurie is sent to hospital straight after the events of the first film. The film then flashes forward to see how Laurie, Annie, Dr Loomis and, of course, Michael are doing.

How do you include your actress wife in a film even though her character was killed in the last movie? You bring her back as a ghost with a white horse, of course (I accidentally typed shite instead of white and it wasn’t autocorrected. Even Apple iPhones know H2 is terrible).

Nearly everyone hates this film and now I can add myself to this list. Rob Zombie really is a one-trick pony with a hobo/hillbilly obsession. Here he even makes Laurie into this kind of alt rock chick girl. Dr Loomis is now a rich, famous megalomaniac. Neither feels genuine.

H2 is more of the same. Slickly directed nothingness. If it takes talent to make violence boring, characters inane and a horror film lacking any kind of suspense, then Zombie is a genius.

Truly terrible.
