In this entry, a lamp from the original house causes mayhem in its new home after it’s bought at a yard sale.

This made-for-TV movie sounds camp as hell, and, quelle surprise, IS camp as hell! There are seriously 80’s daytime soap vibes here (which I quite enjoyed).

But it’s pretty solid, even if the genre means it can’t go full-tilt boogie like Part 2.

I also liked the largely female cast which lends an interesting air to proceedings. Jane Wyatt and Patty Duke are both excellent and lend gravitas (to a possessed lamp film).

I’m loving that the lamp starts to possess other household appliances. It like an 80’s infomercial from hell (literally).

There’s also a great scene where someone drowns- in sewage. (Un) holy sh*t!

I’m pretty sure I would have passed over this in the 80’s when it went straight to video here in the UK but that’s more fool me. I quite enjoyed it.
