An affluent family buy a clock which comes from you know where. It becomes a much-loved fixture and fitting and they all live happily ever after. Just kidding. Crazy sh*t ensues.

This early 90’s TV movie plays very well. Interesting characters, snappy dialogue and a leading man who looks like Eric Roberts.

The moments of horror are very well done with a particularly nasty dog attack which results in the German Shepherd (called Peaches!) having a broken bottle ground into its face (if it happened at all…If you know, you know…) Peaches’ owner is wearing a shellsuit whilst all of this is happening. Now that’s 90’s horror.

There’s also a very funny post-lovemaking scene in which both characters are absolutely drenched and look more like they just ran a marathon. Maybe they had.

Dick Miller also crops up later in the film (which is cool).

If I came upon this film whilst flicking through channels, I’d be more than happy.
