Could a young heiress who says she has a werewolf’s blood running through her veins be responsible for a series of murders in early 20th century London? Her ex-finance investigates.

She Wolf of London is a welcome detour in the series of Universal Classic Monsters series as, firstly, it’s set in England, and secondly because it’s as much a mystery as a horror film.
There’s bags (or should be plumes) of atmosphere as the film takes full advantage of the gaslit, fog-filled London streets.

The cast are excellent.
But the only issue is that *spoiler alert* there’s no ‘she wolf’. But at least it’s only an hour long. Imagine if this was some three hour art film and you find out that the films title and premise are great big fibs.

But still, it’s a lesser known and charming Universal horror film.
