From IMDB- ‘A young woman works with a mercenary to search for her sister in the jungles of New Guinea, where they find her living with a cult in an area inhabited by cannibals.’ Yep, as you can guess, it’s another jungle-based cannibal movie. The sequences of this film that take place in the New …

A Vietnam vet, part-time glamour photographer and bodybuilder is bumping off women in Los Angeles. He regularly rings a talk radio show and appears obsessed with the female host. He also holds quasi-religious ceremonies and has angry conversations with his deceased father. Don’t Answer The Phone! is a nasty, gritty and sleazy piece of film-making. …

A flute-playing serial killer is inexplicably psychically linked with a disabled young girl after a blood transfusion (!) As you can tell from the plot outline, this film is batshit bonkers but I quite like that. I prefer the crazy shit that thinks outside the box rather than dishing up lukewarm generic rubbish. Something else …

Astronauts return to Earth to find that World War 3 has taken place in their absence. Biological and nuclear warfare has obliterated Los Angeles. They have to contend with mutants and a gang of bandits led by Cutter (Sid Haig). I remember The Aftermath when it was rereleased in 1988 as Zombie Aftermath and had …
