The realities of this tough life are also explored with mental illness, PTSD and the burden of murder, even if its a job requirement, all being depicted.
I went to see this film just because Christian Bale was in it- which is the ultimate accolade for an actor. He was top class- as were all of the performances.
This deserves to win every award under the sun.
