I have a confession to make. Even though I’m a huge Scorsese fan, I had never seen The Color Of Money. That was resolved last night.

Superb direction, uniformly amazing performances (only an auteur like Scorsese could obtain such a restrained turn from Tom Cruise) and a fantastic screenplay. Great to see Iggy Pop too.

A great film from Marty’s run of movies in the 80’s that De Niro didn’t star in which was resolved three years later with the masterpiece GoodFellas.
