From IMDB- ‘A young man has mysterious encounters with an unknown woman, an ominous hearse, and other supernatural events on the road during an aimless drive around Louisiana after the funeral of his father.’

This is Lucio Fulci’s final film from 1991. It’s also a million miles away from Zombie Flesh Eaters and The New York Ripper. It gives off serious ‘TV movie’ and ‘straight to video’ vibes. And there’s nothing wrong with that but Door Into Silence just got added to the list named ‘Films I’m glad I’ve seen once but will never watch again’.
It’s one of those films that it’s best to watch and let wash over you. Which loosely means that not very much happens in it.

John Savage (The Deer Hunter) plays the lead. Joe D’Amato produces.
For Lucio Fulci completists only.
