Scientists and the military are trapped together in a missile silo whilst the dead continue to rise up and take over. Can they work together to save humanity or will they be at each others throats? Guess!

I remember a few years ago expressing what I thought about this film and receiving a tsunami of hate because of it. So much so, that I was keen to revisit the film and see if my opinion had changed.
And it hasn’t.
I enjoyed the opening, the gore and, well, that’s about it.

The concept is good, I enjoyed the conflict between the scientists and military (for the first ten minutes anyway). But this starts to wear thin after that.
The idea of trying to domesticate the zombies was also interesting…for the first five minutes. I didn’t particularly root for Bub or think of him as the ‘goodie’ zombie. I found him quite annoying after a while.

Also, the missile silo setting is kinda boring as are most of the characters. I started to experience cabin fever.

There’s just not enough variety and too much shouting (the volume button on my remote control has never been used so much during a film as it was here).
So there we have it. Night and Dawn are both masterpieces whilst Day is kinda meh.
There, I’ve said it. Let the hate flow.
