Ol’ Fish Face is back. He gets captured and turned into an aquarium attraction in South Florida. He falls in love with a female scientist there, escapes and kidnaps her. However, her real life (human) partner is hot on their trail.

Let’s get the obvious out of the way first- no, it’s not as good as the original.

But, that’s like writing off Halloween 2 because it isn’t as good as the first film, and that would be really silly.

Revenge of the Creature is still a great horror film with a great cast (it features Clint Eastwood’s first time on screen), great suspense and enough horror goodness for your admission.

I look forward to the third film (Creature From The Black Lagoon 3: Season of the Gill).
